Are you wondering what you are going to do with the CCSS?
Are you worried that your teachers will be overwhelmed?
Do you wish an expert could figure it all out?
Well, we did!
We spent countless hours analyzing, organizing, defining, creating, thinking, rethinking, planning, charting, etc. to make your job easy!
We know what needs to be taught, when it happens, and how to deliver the instruction- your district and school/s will plan the rest with our support!
Click here to see Informative/Explanatory CCSS Instructional Sequence photos. Please check back regularly as we add narrative and opinion text.
Let's say that you are a 4th grade teacher working on a Writing Process Instructional Sequence which is focusing on explaining (by comparing and contrasting).
The directions for the Instructional Sequence read: Think about the mid-1800's. Explain how miners and trappers were alike and how they were different in terms of their reasons for moving west.
Based on the first part of your Instructional Sequence, your students are knowledgeable on the topic.
Your students are now in the plannning stages of writing. They will use one of the GAW planning tools to help organize their ideas and prepare for drafting.

Of course, we have more to share, however, this is as much of a peek as we can give you!
